Overview

I am an academic practitioner in Accounting, Finance, and Management with a specific interest in teaching within business and employment contexts. I have proven commitment and excellence in empowering and supporting colleagues and students to improve their competence and confidence in their own development.

My teaching philosophy and methods are based around “Enable, Encourage, Empower for Employability”.  I have gained over 12 years’ experience in teaching a variety of modules at foundation, degree and post-graduate level programmes, and in both South-East Asia and the UK.  My teaching expertise is furthered by my formal English language teaching qualification and experience, and coaching accreditation and practice.  I am a strong believer in learning for a purpose, and my teaching and assessment is designed around real-world business context and in developing skills for immediate application in study and employment.
