Emma Wood joined the University of Exeter as a Lecturer in 2018, teaching marketing at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. With her practical experience and focus on environmental communications, Emma integrates a global, ethical perspective with real-world skills.
Emma came to the university after a 20 year career in communications, working for multi-national organisations including La Poste, PHS Group and DHL. More recently, Emma has worked in a number of senior consultancy posts specialising in sustainability and environmental communications for clients as varied as clothing manufacturers, the NHS and Heathrow airport.
Emma is also a tutor and regional workshop leader for the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) professional qualification.
