"This was a brilliant course, that has been fantastically facilitated, the topics and the subject matter have been covered in a great deal of detail, but have been delivered to us in a way that makes it applicable to our clients."

Implementing Circular Economy

We worked with leaders of Schneider Electric to design, develop and deliver a series of masterclasses themed around Lean Innovation.

With a presence in 100 countries, 137,000 employees worldwide and a revenue of €25.7 billion in 2018, Schneider Electric is leading the digital transformation of energy management and automation. Over 90% of the company’s business encompasses energy demand, covering four main markets: Residential & Building, IT (Data centers & networks), Industrial and Infrastructure.

Schneider Electric is a forward-thinking company, always looking for opportunities to improve ways of working and creating value throughout the entire business. As such, they were looking for ways to improve ways of working for the development of innovation within the company.

Erno Tornikoski, Director of Centre for Entrepreneurship at the University of Exeter Business School, worked with leaders of Schneider Electric to design, develop and deliver a series of masterclasses themed around Lean Innovation. The masterclasses provide the key concepts and tools to accelerate innovation projects by individuals working on new offer creations across the organisation.

Participants are provided with the means to accelerate internal offer creation projects and gain the skills to do this. The masterclasses are delivered purely online and are accessible to employees globally. All participants are in some way connected to the Offer Creation process within Schneider Electric, for example, marketing, engineering, architecture, software, sales or legal.

We are continuing to deliver the masterclasses monthly during 2022 and creating new bespoke content, ensuring company needs are always met.
