The Department of Economics is committed to excellence in research and teaching. Within the department, there is expertise and strong international reputation across a range of areas, including Applied Microeconomics, Behavioural and Experimental Economics, Econometrics, Environmental Economics, Macroeconomics, and Pedagogy.
We also engage in projects with international organisations such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank, the United Nations (UN) and the World Trade Organisation (WTO).
