A handy checklist

You will need to make sure you have completed the following tasks in your first week.

Register with the University

You must register with the University at the start of each academic year. By registering you agree to observe the University’s rules and regulations, including the payment of tuition fees and other charges by the deadlines. Most students will be asked to register online. You need to:

  • Activate your IT account.
  • On or after 21st August 2019, use your IT details to go to your iExeter student portal and log in.
  • Follow the ‘Registration’ link.

Important – You must register by 4th October 2019. If you have any problems registering online or your course details are not correct please contact the Student Information Desk on 01392 724 724 or email: SID@exeter.ac.uk

International Students only

Your welcome email will state whether you need to present original documentation to the University before you complete online registration. 

You can present your documents at the Forum desk when you arrive. The welcome email will tell you how to make an appointment.

Receive or collect your UniCard

You can collect this at the Forum if you have not received it with your accommodation keys.

Please pick up your free calculator from the Information Point in Building:One.

Visit the Education Support Team

Here you can find information on your programme and your timetable, as well as general information you may need on your arrival.

Make sure you have chosen your elective modules (dependent on your programme)

Register with the Student Health Centre

It is important that you register with the Health Centre during Freshers' Week, or as soon as you can. Please fill in a registration form online at www.campusdoctor.co.uk/exeter. The Health Centre is located at Reed Mews.
