EQUIS - EFMD Quality Improvement System

EQUIS is the leading international system of quality assessment, improvement and accreditation of higher education institutions in management and business administration. EQUIS is run by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) and its fundamental objective is to raise the standard of management education worldwide. AMBA - Association of MBAs

The Association of MBAs is the international impartial authority on postgraduate business education. AMBA's accreditation service is the global standard for all MBA, DBA and MBM programmes. The University of Exeter Business School’s MBA programme has been named the UK’s 5th best full-time MBA in The Economist’s Which MBA? 2022 rankings.

The rankings, published today, list the top 100 full-time MBA programmes in the world, ranked using a combination of data provided by Business Schools and input from current and former MBA students.

The Exeter MBA secured a top 200 spot in The QS Global MBA Rankings 2022, ranking in the top 60 of MBAs in Europe.

Featuring over 280 business schools, this year’s full-time MBA rankings provides a comprehensive list of the best places to study an MBA.

The Exeter MBA and Senior Leader DA retain their positions in CEO Magazine's 2022 rankings. The Exeter MBA has again been awarded "Tier One" status and recognised among the leading MBA programmes in the world by CEO Magazine’s 2022 Global MBA rankings. The Senior Leader Degree Apprenticeship programme maintains its position among the top 100 Global Executive MBAs.

This year, CEO Magazine reached out to business schools across North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the BRICS, and ranked data from 180 schools, offering 347 different programmes in 27 countries (98 online, 92 EMBA and 157 full-time and part-time MBA programmes). Using a ranking system entirely geared and weighted towards fact-based criteria, it aims to cut through the noise and provide potential students with a performance benchmark for those schools under review.

Scores were based on each school’s performance in quality of faculty, international diversity, class size, accreditation, faculty to student ratio, price, work experience, professional development, gender parity and delivery methods.

The Exeter MBA ranked amongst the top 40 programmes in the world in Corporate Knights' 2022 Better World MBA Ranking, placing 6th in Europe and 14th overall. A total of 160 business schools were assessed across the globe, identifying the Exeter MBA as one of the top programmes in the world at instilling holistic purpose in leaders and reflecting our commitment to inspire leaders for a better world.
