Leading Business School for a better world

MBA ranked second in prestigious global rankings

The University of Exeter Business School’s internationally accredited MBA programme, The Exeter MBA, has secured a Top 3 position in the Corporate Knights’ Better World MBA Rankings for a second year running.

Taking the top spot in 2017, The Exeter MBA placed second in the 2018 rankings in which 141 business schools were assessed across 25 countries.

“The ethos underpinning the Exeter MBA is to inspire leaders for a better world, so we’re extremely proud that Corporate Knights has again recognised us as one of the world’s leading Business Schools striving to address society’s biggest challenges through our education and research,” said Stuart Robinson, Programme Director of The Exeter MBA.

“The creation of sustainable practice is now in the mainstream of industrial, societal, and technological progress globally, so we are delighted to be recognised as an MBA that offers students the skills and knowledge to take this forward in their careers.”

The Corporate Knights’ Better World MBA Ranking grades schools on five indicators: the number of institutes and centres dedicated to sustainable development, the percentage of core courses that integrate sustainable development, faculty research publications and citations on sustainable development themes, and faculty gender and racial diversity.

“This ranking shows which business schools are stepping up to the plate to unleash the power of business as a force for good in our world,” said Toby Heaps, CEO of Corporate Knights Inc. “We applaud all of this year’s Top 40 Better World MBA school winners for their leadership.”

The Exeter MBA is accredited by AMBA and EQUIS, and is available to study full-time over 12 months or as an executive part-time option over 24-36 months. Focused on sustainability, purposeful leadership, innovation and technology, students are equipped with the tools and skills to not only transform themselves, but also the world around them, for good.
