Jane Knox presented the latest highlights from Exeter University at both receptions.

Exeter alumni reminisce together in New Delhi and Mumbai

Old and new alumni friends came together in India to share Exeter memories and hear the latest news back on campus at two dinner events hosted by the Business School and the University’s India Office.

Jane Knox, Business School Admissions Officer, gave guests at both receptions some of the highlights from 2015 and 2016 at Exeter; including the University breaking into the global top 100 universities in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, the departure of Chancellor Baroness Floella Benjamin OBE DL and arrival of Lord Myners in her place.

These dinners were only made possible with the support of several alumni volunteers who helped with the organisation of the event, including Exeter’s Country Contacts based in New Delhi, Archit Garg (MSc International Management 2014), Najaf Ahmad (MSc Finance and Investment 2010) and Apurva Vante (MSc Engineering & Management 2013) and Priyanka Parekh (English 2011) who helped in Mumbai. Our Country Contacts assist with running alumni social events and social media channels in India throughout the year, supported by the University’s alumni office.

The Business School alumni team would like to thank everyone who attended the dinners, especially those who have newly re-connected with the University. We are grateful for the many kind offers of support that we received on the evening, and hope to see you all again soon at our next event in India.
