A handy checklist

You will need to make sure you have completed the following tasks in your first week.

Register with the University

You must register with the University at the start of each academic year. By registering you agree to observe the University’s rules and regulations, including the payment of tuition fees and other charges by the deadlines. Most students will be asked to register online. You need to:

  • Activate your IT account.
  • On or after 4th September, use your IT details to go to iExeter (your student portal) and log in.
  • Follow the ‘Registration’ link.

Important – You must register by Friday 5th October 2018. If you have any problems registering online or your course details are not correct please contact the Student Information Desk on 01392 724 724 or email: SID@exeter.ac.uk

International Students only

Your Welcome to the University of Exeter email will state whether you need to present original documentation to the University before you complete online registration. 

When you arriveplease present your documents at the Forum, Streatham Campus. There will be information in your email as to how to pre book an appointment to present your documents at Exeter Streatham Campus.

Receive or collect your UniCard

You can collect this at the Forum if you have not received it with your accommodation keys.

A full schedule of talks for Undergraduates on Tuesday 17th and Thursday 19th September is available on the Freshers’ Week 2019 page. In addition, this timetable will be available to view via iExeter from the 29th August 2018.

Please pick up your free exams approved calculator from the Information Point in Building One.

Visit the Education Support Team

Here you can find information on your programme and your timetable, as well as general information you may need on your arrival.

Make sure you have chosen your elective modules (dependent on your programme)

Register with the Student Health Centre

It is important that you register with the Health Centre during Freshers' Week, or as soon as you can. Please complete an online registration form at www.campusdoctor.co.uk/exeter. The Health Centre is located at Reed Mews.
