Once you have registered with the University you will be able to select your Elective Modules Online. To do this you will need to have completed your IT activation, and then you will be able to access your student portal. Online module selection opens on Monday 22nd August. See the Online Module Selection page for more details.
We strongly recommend that you choose your elective modules as soon as possible. This will give you the greatest choice – popular modules fill up very quickly. It will also also aid the timetabling team in finalising your personal timetable as quickly as possible
Recommended reading lists can be found here.
Blackwell's Bookshop on campus is in the Foyer of the Great Hall (next door to the Forum Building) and has all the books you need for your modules. The bookshop sells both new and second hand copies, and is running a Student Price Match Guarantee promotion for the first few weeks of term, offering the best value new books in the UK. If you find a lower new price at Amazon, Waterstones or WHSmith the bookshop will match it.
Blackwell's also buys second hand books from students.
Please note that the prices shown on the website are sometimes more expensive than in the campus bookshop itself so please visit the bookshop for the best prices.
