For the second consecutive year both our Full Time and Executive One Planet MBA programmes have been recognised among the leading MBA programmes in the world by CEO Magazine’s 2017 Global MBA rankings.
- Our Full-time programme is awarded "Tier One" status by the magazine for high flyers Executives
- Our Executive/part time programme is ranked 21st in the world and 3rd in the UK
This year CEO Magazine reached out to business schools across North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the BRICS, and received responses from over 160 institutions – a 20 per cent increase in submissions from 2016.
Using a ranking system entirely geared and weighted to fact-based criteria, CEO Magazine aims to cut through the noise and provide potential students with a performance benchmark for those schools under review.
The University of Exeter has broken into the global top 100 universities in the world for the first time in the most influential global league table released today, 1st October 2015.
The University is now ranked 93rd in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, placing it among the very best institutions across the globe.
The new ranking marks a significant rise for the University, having leapt from 154th last year, and cements its position as being amongst the top 200 of universities worldwide.
Both our Full Time and Executive One Planet MBA programmes have been recognised among the best MBA programmes in the world by CEO Magazine’s 2016 Global MBA rankings for both Europe and the rest of the world.
Our full-time programme is one of only 28 in Europe to be given "Tier One" status by the magazine for high flyers Executives, and our Executive programme one of 23 in the world.
The rankings are designed with MBA applicants in mind. They are based on information about the learning environment, class sizes, tuition fees, faculty, delivery methods, international diversity and gender make-up. This year, 140 institutions took part in CEO Magazine's Global MBA rankings.
The University of Exeter has won a prestigious award for providing the best international student experience of any university in the UK.
The University secured the celebrated ‘International Student Choice Category’ at the Whatuni Student Choice awards, held on 23rd April 2015. More than 20,000 university students from across the UK cast their votes for the awards, which covered 10 individual categories. In the International category, Exeter beat off strong competition from the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford to secure the coveted award.

The University has been named by the Times and Sunday Times Good University Times "Sports University of the Year 2015/16", the accolade comes after the University invested more than £20 million in its sporting estate over the past decade, including a £9 million boost to the Sports Park on the Streatham Campus including the new state-of-the-art Russell Seal Fitness Centre
The Business School is ranked in the top 10 for three core subjects (Accounting and Finance, Business Studies and Economics) in The Complete University Guide 2016. The University of Exeter was also ranked 10th overall in The Complete University Guide rankings.

In The Times and The Sunday Times University Guide 2015, the University of Exeter was ranked 7th in the UK.
The University of Exeter was recently awarded University of the Year by the internationally-respected Sunday Times University Guide 2013.
Ranked again in 2013: 3rd in the world and 1st in the UK by Corporate Knights, the “Company for Clean Capitalism”. The One Planet MBA programme was further ranked first in the world in the “small programme” category (of fewer than 100 students).
Our MBA has been recognised for the first time in 2012 by the Washington-based Aspen Institute in their biennial Beyond Grey Pinstripes Rankings. Our MBA is ranked 2nd in the UK, 9th in Europe and 47th in the world. The ranking measures MBA programmes against how well they prepare their students for the environmental, social and ethical complexities of modern-day business.
Our MBA is not only accredited by the Association of MBAs, but our award-winning One Planet MBA was presented with a "High Commended Award for Innovation" upon its creation in 2011.
