Identification of Non-additive Structural Functions
|Speaker:||Andrew Chesher, University College London|
|Date:||Saturday 1 October 2005|
|Location:||Lecture Room D, Streatham Court|
The lecture examines conditions under which there is non- parametric identification of a structural function in which latent variables appear non-additively. Two types of independence restriction involving latent variates are compared and contrasted. Their utility when instruments have limited support is considered.
