Nick's work focuses on inter-organizational relationships and the social construction of identities in B2B marketing contexts. He uses discourse analysis to explore spoken and written texts from the worlds of marketing and purchasing management, industrial networks and supply chains; as well as critically examining certain aspects of consumption.
He has written a sole-authored book on B2B marketing for OUP and a co-authored text on critical marketing for Sage, for whom he has also edited a four volume collection of major works in B2B marketing. Nick is Associate Editor of the Journal of Marketing Management with particular responsibility to oversee B2B related submissions.
Nick is presenting this lecture as a part of his two day visit to Exeter, where he is also teaching on the MBA B2B Marketing module.
