Jobs at TARC

Research Centre Co-ordinator

Research Services (based in the Business School)

This new full-time post is available immediately on a fixed term basis until 30 June 2018.

The University of Exeter has grown its research activity significantly over the last few years and, since joining the Russell Group of research-intensive universities in 2012, has made a step change in its research income and earnings performance, research quality, numbers of research students and knowledge transfer activities.

This role is within the joint funded Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and HMRC Tax Administration Research Centre, situated within University of Exeter Business School.

The Centre is based at the University of Exeter Business School, and is currently jointly delivered with the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS), with existing funding running to June 2018. This is a key role, and the post holder will support TARC by delivering an effective project and partnership management service for the Centre's existing activities, and partners, alongside supporting development of new project opportunities with existing and new funders to extend the funding period for the Centre. In particular, the role will be responsible for supporting the identification and collection of the outputs and impact delivered by the project for reporting to the joint funders, and wider collaborators. This will include drafting reports on existing projects, and supporting the website and newsletter content.

Along with the Co-Directors, the role will work closely with the existing TARC Centre Administrator and TARC Researchers.
