HMRC Datalab

The HMRC Datalab was launched in May 2011 as a new Research Data Centre (RDC).

It allows approved academics to access anonymised HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) data in a secure environment that is consistent with the department's data security policy.

The aim of this initiative is to produce high quality research that benefits both the department and the wider academic community, in the form of a wider evidence base to support knowledge sharing and policy making.
