Juliet joined the centre as a post graduate researcher in October 2011. Her research interests are healthcare innovation, particularly for people with chronic diseases and how healthcare services can be designed to enhance the quality of life for people living with diabetes.
She has a vast experience working within the healthcare sector having started off her professional life as a Nurse in the Queen Alexandra Royal Naval Nursing Service moving on to roles with the British Forces Germany Health Service, Dorset and Somerset Strategic Health Authority, NHS National Diabetes Support Team and the States of Jersey Department of Health and Social Services. During this time she completed a BSc (Hons) in Nursing from the University of Manchester, an MSc in Training and Human Resource Management (Leicester) and Master of Business Administration from the University of Exeter.
