Wenjin Dai

Wenjin joined the Business School of Exeter in 2010. She graduated with an MSc in Marketing from the University of Birmingham in 2009. Before moving to the UK, she worked as a marketing consultant in China, gaining consultancy and cross-cultural management experience in the process. She also has a BSc in Business Administration from Donghua University (China Textile University, 2003-2007) in Shanghai, China.

Her PhD research project is exploring how Corporate Sustainability has been perceived and understood through organising and ordering attempts by Multinational Corporations (MNCs) in China. By working in a MNC in Shanghai as a ‘sustainability practitioner’ for three months (2012), her research is offering an ethnographic cultural representation of how sustainability works in China.

She is supervised by Professor Annie Pye and Professor Jonathan Gosling.
