I work with individual leaders and managers, teams and organisations to support learning, change & ‘best thinking’ in what are increasingly complex, uncertain & turbulent contexts. More specifically, my work includes:

Clients set the agenda for the change issue they wish to work on. Recent themes have included:

  • Managing the transition into new roles -the first 100 days
  • Exploring leadership in turbulent contexts
  • Leading for innovation and culture change
  • Continuous improvement –seeking to operate from a position of increased resourcefulness and confidence across a range of situations. Gaining fresh insight & perspectives.
  • Career development –including being at a career ‘crossroads’ & wishing to explore and identify next steps

I am an Affiliate of the professional network at the Centre for Leadership Studies, Exeter and a Business Partner of the Business School at the University of the West of England, Bristol.

CLS assignments have included: Coaching (Utilities, NHS); bespoke workshops; research interviews with finance leaders from National & International organisations –as part of the ACCA/Exeter University ‘Paths to the Top’ initiative.

I offer a challenging yet sensitive approach in my work –creating relationships built on trust, respect and integrity and working closely and creatively with the uniqueness of clients to ensure a bespoke service to meet needs. I believe that humour, where appropriate can be important.

I am an experienced & qualified Coach and Development Facilitator. A member of the EMCC & Association for Coaching, I abide by their professional code of ethics. I am licensed to use a number of personality/psychometric questionnaires including the Hogan Series, MBTI (I & II) and FIRO-B, have experience of a range of 360⁰ feedback instruments and can draw on these as appropriate to support learning.

I have an NHS background and now work across sectors.
If required, I can draw on a number of experienced associates to enhance capacity for projects.
