BA Business and Accounting

Programme overview

BA Business and Accounting is aimed at students seeking a specialist understanding of accounting and the opportunity to study a broad range of business subjects.  You will study the core areas of accounting such as financial reporting, management accounting, and corporate finance as well as other business subjects such as organisational behaviour, human resource management, and strategic management.  The programme assumes that upon graduation you may wish to seek careers in business, the public sector and finance, or the accountancy profession. Whatever career path you choose, however, you can be confident that graduates from the University of Exeter Business School are keenly sought by leading employers.

Exemption from professional accountancy examinations

Vidip Jatia

One of elements I like most about my BA in Business and Accounting is its flexibility. The programme includes a heavy chunk of Accounting modules with a pinch of personal choice. I’ve been able to focus on all the major Accounting modules but also choose other modules within the Business School that I might find relevant in the real world.
