In the run up to this summer's events there was extensive debate about the expected positive knock on effect to consumer confidence and the economy. Over the summer months, new consultancy elephant communications commissioned research to track consumer confidence before, during and after the summer events. We explored consumers' outlook and their relationship with the media as measures of this.
