University of Exeter MBA continues to be ranked as among the best in the world

The University of Exeter Business School’s MBA continues to be ranked as among the best in the world after again being endorsed by a prestigious industry body.

The Association of MBAs has bestowed the course with the highest award possible of five years accreditation.

AMBA is an impartial authority on postgraduate management education with its accreditation service a recognised standard for MBA, DBA and Master's degrees. AMBA currently accredits programmes from the top two per cent of business schools in over 70 countries.
Pro-Vice Chancellor and Executive Dean of the Business School, Professor David Allen said: “We are extremely pleased to have been granted the sought-after 5 year accreditation from AMBA.  This award certifies the quality of our MBA programme and is testament to the talented and dedicated students, alumni, Corporate Partners and University staff who are involved in it every day.

“This accolade moves the School forward in our ambition to be triple-accredited having now secured 5 year accreditation for both EQUIS and AMBA; we now continue with the final stages of AACSB accreditation in the year ahead.”

This award follows the recent ranking of the University of Exeter Business School’s MBA as number 1 in the global ‘Better World’ MBA rankings.  In 2016, the School also achieved 5 year EQUIS accreditation, which confirms Exeter’s place in a select group of business schools that hold full accreditation. EQUIS accreditation is granted by the European Foundation of Management Development, which is one of the largest international network associations in the field of management development organisations.

The University of Exeter Business School, based in Exeter and Penryn (Cornwall), has approximately 3,900 students studying courses in Management, Economics, Accounting and Finance, representing over 100 countries worldwide.

The School also runs programmes accredited by the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Institute for Fiscal Studies, Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply, Chartered Institute of Professional Development (CIPD), Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

The Exeter MBA is offered as full time or executive programme version and works in partnership with multinational organisations such as IBM, SAP, Accenture, Ernst & Young and Thompson Reuters.

The School’s International Advisory Board has members from BASF, Rothschild, Fujitsu, British Airways and Credit Suisse.
