Bumper year for Business School in 2013 Students Guild Teaching Awards

The Business School enjoyed an excellent year in the 2013 Awards, with two outright winners and several runners up across the eight individual categories.

Lawrence Choo from the Economics department picked up the award for Best Postgraduate Teacher and Paul Barton from Management Studies was similarly honoured for providing Best Employability Support.

Runners up included Bill Peng from Accounting (Best Feedback Provider), Todd Kaplan from Economics (Innovative Teaching) and past winner Alex Thompson from Organisation Studies (Best Lecturer).

Dean of the School Professor Robin Mason commented: “Many congratulations to our two winners, as well as to the worthy runners-up. This kind of recognition, especially from our students, is a reminder of the range of extraordinary teachers and academics who make the School such a vibrant and successful place to study and work in.”
