Based at the Innovation Centre, details of the exciting new business are still under wraps but it has already been tipped as the next big thing in the world of social media.

Fantasy Shopper is a social shopping website fully integrated with Facebook and mobile. It plans to enter the market as a social game to achieve fast viral growth and then evolve into a social shopping utility where it will be positioned to exploit new technologies such as location based marketing and augmented reality. It already has over 300 retailers signed up globally including Topshop, Selfridges, Macey's and Bloomingdales and anticipates launching with around 10 million fashion products.

 After initially offering help as a tester, Nim was quickly recruited to work at the heart of the promotional strategy, once her colleagues discovered that she was writing her dissertation on online shopping. She has since been heavily involved with attracting interest in the company via its ever increasing Facebook group.

Commenting on her role Nim said "We’re now on our 100 day countdown to launch, so things are pretty busy but incredibly exciting as well. Once I’ve finished my course, I’m hoping to go onto an internship with and from there.....who knows!"
