Staff from South West Water
South West Water cohort successfully complete bespoke programme
Staff from South West Water as part of their management development programme were presented with their Postgraduate Certificates in Professional Development in Management this week.
The 11 staff are the second cohort to successfully complete the bespoke programme which South West Water commissioned from the Business School four years ago. This cohort started the programme in April 2008 and worked hard to undertake and complete their studies alongside demanding full-time jobs.
Monica Reed Customer Relations & Business Development Director from SWW spoke to the ceremony just before the presentations. Professor Roger Maull, Head of Management, welcomed and introduced the ceremony, Professor Robin Mason, Associate Dean Education and Dr Harry Maddern, CPD Director and Orator of Ceremony presented the awards.
South West Water has a long and successful history with the University. They are longstanding members of the Business Leaders Forum, have collaborated on research into the “Effective and Efficient Delivery of Wastewater Services”, a number of staff undertook the Exeter MBA and they worked with several graduate internships last year.
