Business School Hits top 10 again!
The Times Good University Guide 2010 has placed the University of Exeter Business School firmly in its top six.
Accounting and Finance at Exeter is rated second in the country, with Business Studies fifth and Economics sixth. Each department has improved on their 2009 positions when Accounting and Finance was rated third, Business Studies seventh and Economics tenth.
The rankings were awarded by looking at a number of factors, including research quality, student satisfaction, graduate prospects and investment in services and facilities.
Professor Richard Lamming, Business School Director said “The Times’ guide is probably the most widely used set of rankings for UK universities so we are delighted to have improved on our position within the top 10 for all of our subject areas. These results are a tribute to the quality and hard work of both our students and staff and reflect the ambitions of everyone connected with the University of Exeter Business School. However, we do not intend to sit back on these results and we will continue to work hard to ensure that we deliver teaching and research which is of the highest quality and is relevant to the needs of business around the world”.
Overall, the University of Exeter was placed ninth in the country in The Times Good University Guide, appearing in the top ten for the first time.
