South West Water Managers Celebrate Qualifications

The first group of ten South West Water managers received their certificates for completing a Post Graduate Certificate in Management programme, designed and delivered by the University of Exeter Business School. A second cohort of 11 will also complete the course in 2009.

Running over two years, the course has been adapted to suit the particular needs of South West Water and its senior staff. Professor Roger Maull, academic programme director commented ‘Although a nationally recognised management qualification, we were able to work with South West Water to create a curriculum to suit their business needs. The fact that the ten graduates today have all done so well, with every one of them achieving a merit or distinction, demonstrates the relevancy of the programme to their day to day work.’

Colin Munce, Director of Corporate Services from South West Water added ‘My congratulations go to all those receiving their certificates today. They’ve all demonstrated great ability, commitment and tenacity – just what we expect from our senior team – we are very proud of their achievements.’
