Exeter Begins New Postgraduate Exchange with Mannheim

The School of Business and Economics will begin a new exchange arrangement with the University of Mannheim Business School next year. The arrangement is open to three students undertaking the 12 month MSc International Management who wish to study in Mannheim for the second semester in Spring 2009.

Julie Whittaker, Programme Director for the MSc International Management says “This is a great opportunity for our students to broaden their studies at one of the best business schools in Europe.”

Mannheim have already selected three of their students to study in Exeter, and the School will select its exchange students from candidates applying between now and September. The students will join a one week orientation course, before beginning to study on four or five business modules which are taught in English. As some knowledge of German is advised, language classes are offered during the semester.

The University of Mannheim is recognised as one of the leading academic institutions in Germany and Europe for Business Administration, Economics and Social Sciences. It was the first institution to be accredited by AACSB and EQUIS, and the Financial Times ranks the School as 15th in Europe.

Places are still available for this exchange for students wishing to take the 12 months MSc International Management in the academic year 2008/9. For further information, please contact Julie Whittaker.

Date: 25 February 2008
