Workplace Project: Creating Impact
The Module is designed to enable you as a Senior Leader (SL) to evaluate (Develop) elements of the project lifecycle for the projects you put forward in the Strategic Business Proposal module As you are responsible for developing and implementing strategic or organisation wide projects that contribute towards operational and strategic direction, this capstone module promotes consolidation of learning across the programme and offers a conclusion of the programme. You will deliver your project proposed in the Strategic Business Report module (although this may change in exceptional circumstances) to provide a deeper understanding of your chosen subject area and address the selected work based issue.

The aim of the Workplace Project: Creating Impact module is to enable you as an SL to conduct a self-managed work based project into a relevant area of your professional practice/workplace issue. This module provides the opportunity to apply the learning gained from the other taught management modules and build upon the knowledge and skills acquired from the Strategic Business Report, thus allowing you to identify the value derived in its application to your organisation/workplace context.

Whilst the module’s precise content will vary from year to year, and project to project, an example of an overall structure is as follows:
- Masterclasses on understanding the expectations of the EPAO and what the EPA requirements are how to structure a project report, presenting with confidence and meeting the expectations of your intended audience
- Students will work under supervision to undertake workplace project following the strategic business proposal completed earlier in the programme.
- the following components:
- Select a topic area that is relevant and important their role and workplace
- Write up the project in a manner appropriate to the intended audience, ensuring that the findings/discussions meet the needs of your workplace
- Presentation of research project: oral presentation with supporting report.
