The focus of Olga’s research is on environmental sustainable work behaviour and learning. Olga studies key issues faced by people in organisations, such as power, resistance, change, knowledge, learning, identity in the context of new societal changes and sustainability. In her research, Olga engages with constructivist, interpretative, phenomenological process and practice research perspectives and seek to question epistemological assumptions behind ‘learning’ and ‘changing’. These can arise at both the level of how academic theory articulates processes such as learning and changing in the context of sustainability, as well as,the way practitioners (managers at all levels in large and small organisations) enact them under distinctive societal influences and legacies such as the COVID-19 pandemic or Soviet legacy. Understanding change towards more responsible ways of working is reflected in her research with the aim to advance these themes in the Organisational Behaviour (OB), Human ResourcesManagement (HRM) and Sustainability literature.
