Develop your managerial skills by reserving your seat at the RoundTables
The 2012 event will take place at IEDC Bled, Slovenia between 6th and 11th May 2012. We have had a number of enquiries already from potential participants and would welcome any questions you may have. Please contact Julie Hargreaves for further details.
RoundTables is a unique opportunity to develop your managerial skills with experienced managers and a dedicated faculty from around the world in an exceptional environment. Practising managers in MBA programmes from innovative business schools around the world will come together for a week to focus on learning from their own managerial experience.
This is a special opportunity to take a week out of the MBA classroom in order to probe, reflect and analyse the processes of managing itself and how it takes shape in different parts of the world. All the participants will be experienced managers with current and challenging roles – that is the main criterion for entry to the programme; and faculty are selected for their ability to work with you on your current managerial challenges.
The RoundTables Difference
First, EMBA programs tend to take place in their own cultural settings, just as most managerial jobs take place in particular corporate cultures. The power of the RoundTables program is that it goes beyond these settings, into an authentically cross cultural experience.
Second, much MBA education is based on learning from other people’s experience (case studies, even theories themselves), or from created experience (as in action-learning and field projects). What makes the RoundTables unique is that practicing managers get together to learn from your own experience, shared with colleagues from around the world, and facilitated – sometimes provoked – by the faculty members.
