Robin Mason

a message from professor robin mason

As many of you may know, I am moving to a new role as Pro-Vice-Chancellor (International) at the University of Birmingham. As I step aside after almost five years as Dean, I would like to thank the many alumni who have helped the School enormously during my tenure. I continue to be surprised at the great generosity that our alumni show in terms of their time, advice, sheer energy and enthusiasm, and financial support for the School. It's a part of my role that I will very much miss, since I should add that it's also been a lot of fun getting to know you and engaging with you. I'm hoping that there'll be a fraction of the alumni support at my new university as there has been at Exeter. So once again, thank you. As I hand over the leadership of the School to Richard Owen, I know that you'll give him the same support as you've given me. My very best wishes to you all. Should you ever find yourself in Birmingham, do let me know and I'd be delighted to hear from you.
