Alumna takes on Tri-Expedition Challenge

Next summer Business School graduate Jo Goodall will travel to Borneo to take part in a five day challenge in order to raise money for three charities; Alzheimer's Society, Mind, and Prostate Cancer UK.

Jo Goodall (Business and Management, 2012) first heard about the challenge through her role as a Management Consultant for Deloitte UK. She will be traveling with a team of 35 fellow Deloitte employees to undertake the challenge next June.

The challenge takes place over five days and includes climbing Mount Kinabalu, the highest mountain in South-East Asia at 4,102m, mountain biking for 65km through the jungle and white water rafting down the raging Padas River.

“I really enjoy taking on physical challenges for charity - it started with a half marathon for Cancer Research UK in 2013, last year I ran the 2014 Virgin London Marathon for MS-UK. I am also running the Bath Half Marathon on Sunday 1st March for the three charities in preparation for June.” said Jo.

As well as the Tri-Expedition Challenge in Borneo, Deloitte have four other challenges happening across four continents and overall they hope to raise £1,000,000 for their three charities.
