I have supported the Business School in various activities such as carrying out mock interviews, providing careers advice, attending Alumni related events... and much more. We greatly value the opportunity to work with Exeter's business students, helping them to develop some of the vital employability skills they will need, and look forward to recruiting even more talent over the years to come.
Scarlett Seager, Student Recruitment Officer, PwC
There are many ways to get involved with the Business School and you are welcome to give as little or as much time as you can offer. As a volunteer you will be fully supported by the School’s Alumni Relations Team.
The generous support of alumni is helping our current and future students get the most from their time at university, and succeed after graduation.
As Business School students, we have access to a vast range of resources to help us with our careers – whether that’s insight talks into different sectors, or employability networking events, which give you a chance to speak to alumni and learn about their experiences.
Hannah Vosser, BA in Management with Marketing with Industrial Experience
Are you interested in volunteering some time to us? Many of our alumni find it a rewarding experience, as do our students, who benefit hugely from the advice and information offered by our graduates.
Volunteering is a fantastic way to meet new and old friends, and to share your skills and expertise with the current generation of Exeter students.

Providing a placement to an Exeter student
Providing a placement gives students the opportunity to put into practice some of the things they will have learned in the first two years and to enter their final year with the insights of their practical experience in the field. Likewise, this is also beneficial for companies, with the opportunity to utilise university expertise at a reasonable cost, and potentially find a future employee following graduation. Getting involved with your local networks
Based in the UK? Join one of our groups or networks where you can meet fellow alumni in your area or who share similar interests. There are also numerous events organised throughout the year to help you network professionally.
