Dr Dudley Cooke joined the University of Exeter Business School in 2010, having previously been based at Trinity College Dublin. Dr Cooke has been a visiting researcher at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and the Bank of Portugal.

Dr Cooke’s research focuses on international macroeconomics and monetary policy.
Dr Cooke’s current research analyses the exporting decision of firms in monetary models of the business cycle. His research has shown how “openness” can have important implications for the long-run rate of inflation and short-run fluctuations in the exchange rate.
