Lecturer in Finance and Accounting
Charles Day joined UEBS in mid-2020 from Oxford Brookes University. He is a professional accountant who commenced his academic career in early 2016 after a long career in corporate, consulting, and audit environments in several countries.
Charles has primarily taught aspiring accountants on specialist accounting degrees but since joining UEBS has been focused on finance and accounting education to general managers on the Senior Leader MBA programme and future CFA candidates on the applied finance undergraduate degree.
Charles is early in his research career having published a paper on goodwill impairment testing in South Africa. He will be seeking to research and publish further on the topic of goodwill.
