Ali joined the Business School in 2019, in a part-time capacity, working mainly as an Academic Mentor with the early SLMDA cohorts, together with delivery of guest sessions at Masterclasses. She has continued to work with these cohorts of mature students, as they study for their MBA and Senior Leader Degree Apprenticeship.

Ali has a background in international business, psychology and wellbeing, facilitation, coaching and mentoring, and continues to work in these areas alongside her University of Exeter position.
