Ananda is an experienced sustainability professional with 7+ years of cross-functional experience in large-scale engineering projects. She is a Chevening scholarship alumna from India and did her MSc at Imperial College London with a research focus on climate change mitigation and finance and has worked with a range of UK-based entrepreneurs in the sustainability sector.
She recently completed an MBA at the University of Exeter Business School specializing in circular economy prior to joining the Circular Economy Hub. She intends to combine her techno-managerial skills with the business acumen acquired during MBA to help businesses through a circular transition framework and bring sustainability to the forefront of their operations and improve the triple bottom line. She wants to make this world a better place for everyone.
She loves the outdoors (10 Himalayan treks under her belt), travelling (13 countries and counting) and animals. She volunteers for the community fridge based out of Exeter Library and as a cat-fosterer for Blue Cross.

Research projects
As part of the Circular Revolution project, she is helping Welsh SMEs in varied sectors (energy, waste management, retail and food) develop their circular transition framework and assist them in their circular economy journey through various innovation pathways.
