Jennifer Farrell joined the Business School in 2011. Jennifer completed her doctoral research at Queen Mary, University of London, and an LLM in Tax at King’s College London.
Her research interests include UK tax policy, international taxation, regional and international trade law. Her doctoral research won the 2011 Mitchell B Carroll prize awarded by the International Fiscal Association. Jennifer previously held academic positions in London and Vienna and has previously been awarded a Marie Curie Fellowship in International Taxation at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.

Jennifer’s research focuses on the interaction of trade laws with taxation – focusing on the rules of the World Trade Organisation. She is also interested in regional trade agreements and taxation (in particular European and Canadian trade relations). Jennifer’s current research examines the historical development of international tax policy.
