Isabelle is part of the Future Focus 2 Programme working with local Cornish and Isles of Scilly businesses, encouraging them to innovate and supporting them through events, labs, grants and other offerings.
Isabelle has been working in business support across different projects, now taking up a post at Exeter University providing innovation and support to SME businesses in an academic role, providing research to SME businesses.
She has previously worked in an events and administration role within the University as well as providing research through a previous business support project external to the university.

Career
Isabelle lived in Madrid for a year teaching primary school children after graduating from university in 2016.
Upon returning she has been working in business support across different projects, now taking up a post at Exeter University providing innovation and support to SME businesses throught the Future Focus 2 programme.

Providing businesses with information regarding the materials used within their products and helping them find sustainable alternatives. Looking at wider business models to implement circular economy practices, thinking and opportunities. Providing information and resources for businesses to calculate their carbon footprint.
Looking at market size, demographic as well as trends and challenges relating to different sectors, in order to enable business growth. Analysis and overview of current markets, such as pricepoints and retailers of existing or similar products, helping businesses make future strategy plans regarding new markets and the delivery of new products within markets. Assisting in the development of questionnaires to gather data to inform decision making.
