David joined the University of Exeter Business School in late 2012 as network coordinator for NEMODE, a RCUK funded project aimed at studying the development of new economic models in the digital economy. David is also adjunct Professor at I.E. Business School at the operations and technology area.
Some of his research on healthcare operations has been published (or about to) in Service Science (Informs) and JORS. Some of his research on innovation and technology has been published (or about to) in TIBE and Technovation.
David has done consultancy in the healthcare sector (Spanish agency for organ donation and transplant) as well as for telecoms (Telefonica, Ericsson).
Before joining the academia he worked in the industry as an Engineer for several multinationals (Siemens, Vivendi, IBM).
