Andreas’ research focuses on alternative forms of entrepreneurship and organizing, such as community-based enterprises, cooperatives and other forms of social and collective entrepreneurship. He uses an institutional perspective to explore the dynamics, the challenges, the strategies and the practices that help such forms to emerge, thrive, address grand challenges and sustain the participation of their members. He also delves into how such forms and enterprises influence institutional processes and mainstream organizations and firms. Methodologically speaking, Andreas usually follows qualitative methods.
