I am an academic practitioner in Accounting, Finance, and Management with a specific interest in teaching within business and employment contexts. My teaching philosophy and methods are based around “Enable, Encourage, Empower for Employability”. I have gained over 12 years’ experience in teaching a variety of modules at foundation, degree and post-graduate level programmes, and in both South-East Asia and the UK. My teaching expertise is furthered by my formal English language teaching qualification and experience, and coaching accreditation and practice. I am a strong believer in learning for a purpose, and my teaching and assessment is designed around real-world business context and in developing skills for immediate application in study and employment.I adopt a Teaching and testing “Training and Trying” approach, designed and delivered around business contexts and in introducing and developing skills and methods for future application in study and employment. Modules are designed with a clear pathway to assessment, aligned to employability, and to professional accreditation
